Tomorrow’s wardrobe starts now!

Fashion doesn’t tend to care much about the future, except when it comes to tomorrow’s trends and next season’s must-haves. Enter sustainable clothing. Ecofashion is all about respect for people and the environment – and more generally, the future of our planet. And before you start thinking of unbleached cotton and unflattering t-shirts: contemporary sustainable fashion is no stranger to glamour, beauty and style.

Despite a growing number of ecofashion brands, slow fashion designers and eco-chic stores, our wardrobes can still do with a green make-over. With this website Lynsey Dubbeld provides an A to Z to the everyday changes that we can make to make our closets future-proof. And please be assured: it’s definitely possible to be green & gorgeous, ethical & elegant, fair & fashionable, sustainable & sexy. Just keep on reading and you'll hear all about it.

This website will provide guidance to everyone trying to get rid of a fast fashion obsession (or an otherwise environmentally dubious attitude to clothing) and find the prettiest sustainable clothes. It will document the do’s & dont’s for budding ecofashionistas. And it will make clear that the route towards a greener clothing style is not only an ethical must-do, but an exciting challenge and, ultimately, a rewarding experience as well.
